The unforeseen crisis in Switzerland's national team has swiftly affected their results. Heading into the second leg against Denmark, the team find themselves on a four-game losing streak that began during Euro 2024 in July.
Following the summer's major tournament, there have been few changes to Switzerland's squad, with the most notable being a switch in their starting goalkeeper. Borussia Dortmund's Gregor Kobel has taken over from veteran Yann Sommer and has been one of the team's standout performers in the autumn Nations League matches.
